Creating begins with a ball of clay and you introduce three elements: the wheel, water, and the hands of the potter.
-
Dry
After the clay is shaped on the wheel it is left to dry to a consistency where handles and stamps can be applied.
-
Glaze
After the piece has been bisque fired, the glaze is applied. This is what gives the piece its’ unique color and identity.
-
Fire
At this point, the piece is ready to be fired again. This time it will be fired to temperatures over 2200 degrees.
